| | Tollway IL-90 west to Rt-47. Rt-47 north to Rt-14. Rt-14 to Paulsen Road in Woodstock. North on Paulsen Road. Horse trailer parking lot is on the left. Paulsen Road entrance to park has an address of 2105 Paulsen Road, Woodstock, IL.
If camping at Rock Cut State Park, exit equestrian campground by going west on Hart Road (the park road). Turn north onto Perryville Road and take to traffic light. Turn east onto Rt-173. Take Rt-173 to Harvard. Woodstock is next town south of Harvard. Turn south on Rt-14. Take Rt-14 to Paulsen Road. Paulsen Road is past Brookdale's main entrance on Rt-14. Do not go in the main entrance. There is no connection to the horse trailer parking lot from the main entrance. Must use Paulsen Road to get to horse trailer parking lot.

| Last riders out 4:00 pm. This is an IL McHenry County park. Day ride only. No camping facilities at Brookdale. Horse camping facilities available at Rock Cut State Park, approximately 1 hour away.
Trailhead at Paulsen Road parking lot. Picnic tables, pit toilet and mounting block available. No water. 7 miles of trail through prairie and forest. Easy trails on mowed grass. Ride through the remnants of the old Woodstock Hunt Club.
